i don't get instant coffee?  do people actually enjoy instant coffee?

people of livejournal, do you really enjoy instant coffee?

in an effort to stay awake at my new job i have resorted to drinking what seems like 10 cups of hazelnut flavoured instant coffee a day.  by five my stomach and central nervous system have basically declared war on me and i jitter all the way to the subway station hoping not to puke and/or have a massive heart attack.  it's awful.

if i am really bored sometimes i create elaborate spreadsheets on excel that detail my current income, spending habits, and what my savings will be like in a year, 10 years, and retirement  it's more fun than you might think.

tomorrow i am leaving early to go to a "doctors appointment", also known as an interview for a better job.  i really hope i get it.

instant coffee is the WORST!!!!!!!!!

not an exaggeration. i have never had good instant coffee. that being said, i ALWAYS make the free packet of coffee you get in hotels, and those too are pretty awful. so. they're probably on par in terms of awful.

hmm. but maybe the flavoured stuff is better. i've never tried, i have no faith in instant coffee.
p.s. i am also kind of jittery from coffee right now. hah.

instant coffee tastes like bitter. rather, watered down bitter. it really is the most vile thing. i only drink it because it's free.

coffee jitters are the worst!

I don't drink coffee (straight up at least), so I can't confirm nor deny such claims. I assume instant coffee would be just as horrible as instant anything.

Excel budgets are where it's at, yo; I've kept one since 2004. It's projected out to 2012 and I've also made retirement projections using the nifty Forecast functions. Yeah, I'm a math twit.

Keeping up to speed with it is a bitch, but it's (sometimes) helped my conscience to kick in when I get those urges to buy stupid stuff. Sometimes.

hahaha. forecast function?! what? i did not know of this. do explain!

i'm more of a tea person myself. but i find coffee soothing sometimes. it's really hard to find a place that does it well. i'm used to the homemade italian espresso i get at al's house.
